Inspired by the Great Pacific Northwest's terrain and valleys that surround his home, Greg Klassen creates wondrous river tables and wall hangings by repurposing wood from his local lumberyard.
My focus for the design of this exhibition book was to showcase his pieces by incorporating elements of the region's topographic maps featured at The High Desert Museum.
The content is introduced with an article by Andra Khan explaining Gregg Klassen's innovative design principles and then divided into his three most recent series of artwork.
I used eco-friendly speckled and translucent paper, pulling inspiration from Greg Klassen's River Tables. Then designed unique logos to represent each of the series of his works and finally used a stitch binding technique to create this final piece.
